I don't have much to say about this case that Steve Sailer hasn't said better. It's pretty good money to bet that the New York Times will never use the term "white hispanic" again. I feel bad for media, honestly. Every journalist on the planet would give up a kidney to write the story "White Man Guns Down Black Teen In Cold Blood." They thought they finally found it with George Zimmerman. But Zimmerman turned out to be a doughy Hispanic guy and Trayvon wasn't the most upstanding citizen. Watching Rachel Jeantel on the stand reinforced my conviction that democracy simply doesn't work.
Will the media do any serious self-examination about their biases which caused them to get so much of this story so wrong? I didn't think so either. The search for the Great White Defendant goes ever on.
